Homebuying and selling made more simple

Over my time at Flyhomes, I went from being the single designer for the company to building a small design team supporting our broader Engineering, Product, & Design organization. My main design stack included all consumer facing surfaces, including our web experiences and our mobile apps for iOS and Android.

 

 

Dynamic sign-up flow

Partnering with our VP of Brokerage, I increased conversion for our online sign up funnel. Instead of the previous multi-page design, I created a single page experience that seamlessly transitioned between questions using animations, more than doubling our conversion rate for sign-ups.

Across every location served, clients’ top feedback remained the same: buying a home is complicated and I’m not sure where to start. The core solution to this problem was to understand how Flyhomes supports someone at each step, and then connect them with what they need in the moment.

 
 

Design system & guidelines

One of my core responsibilities was to implement a digital design system for the company, spearheading new brand styles as a collaborative effort with marketing and development. Having a design system in place was key for smoothly transitioning between the three stages of brand updates I managed over my time at Flyhomes.

 

Digital design refresh

Flyhomes made a huge push for series C funding over 2021. As part of the fundraising effort, I collaborated with our VP of Product and marketing team to completely refresh our digital spaces with Flyhomes’ latest brand.
